Governor Corbett announced a grant last week awarded by The Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) to the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh (URA). The $412,500 Keystone Communities grant has been awarded to support street lighting projects in Pittsburgh’s East Liberty, Highland Park and Shadyside neighborhoods. 

“Approximately 150 streetlight poles and fixtures will be added to Highland Avenue, from East Liberty Boulevard, crossing over Penn Avenue and ending at the bridge on the eastern side of Highland Avenue.”
