Join the Kelly Strayhorn Theater to celebrate the life of Pittsburgher and internationally acclaimed jazz musician Billy Strayhorn Saturday, November 26 at 8:00 p.m.!
Suite Life: A Billy Strayhorn Birthday Bash will feature selections of Strayhorn’s music, including big hits and rarely heard gems, all performed by legendary Pittsburgh jazz drummers Roger Humphries and an ensemble of the city’s hottest jazz musicians and vocalists. The evening will also feature a very special spoken word performance by Pittsburgh’s own Leslie “Ezra” Smith.
The party starts at 8:00 p.m. with a pre-show mixer at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door. Residents of zipcode 15206 can purchase tickets for $20, and students and artists can purchase tickets for $15.
