Unrealized expectations, confrontations and how we navigate relationships are the inspiration for “Drenched,” the newmultimedia work by choreographer/performer Luke Murphy. The US premiere of Drenched will be Friday, November 16 and Saturday, November 17 at 8:00 p.m. at the Kelly Strayhorn Theater (5941 Penn Avenue).

Set to the musical backdrop of “Nothing Compares to You” and works by other artists along with visual vignettes that are projected on three large screens, Drenched uses humor to explore relationships. Drenched is a duet performed by Point Park University graduate and Ireland native Luke Murphy and Juliard-trained dancer Carlye Eckert. The multi-channel projection installation is by video artist David Fishel.

Tickets are $25 in advance, $35 at the door, $20 for residents of the 15206 zip code and $15 for students and artists. To purchase tickets and for more information, visit www.kelly-strayhorn.org.
