The Cathedral of Hope Fine Arts Series is proud to present visiting Chinese artist Dr. He Qi!
Dr. Qi’s story of moving from forced portraits of Chairman Mao during the Cultural Revolution to painting vibrant depictions of Christian scriptures is fascinating and inspiring.
His artwork will be on display in Room 234 and the Second Floor Parlor of East Liberty Presbyterian Church (116 South Highland Ave.) during special gallery hours while Dr. Qi is present in Pittsburgh. One room displays works from Old Testament stories, while the other contains images from New Testament scriptures.
