This coming Friday and Saturday, June 14th and 15th, leaders from throughout the city of Pittsburgh will gather for a two-day Design Charrette in support of the redevelopment of SS. Peter and Paul Church on Larimer Avenue.
A Design Charrette is a community-based approach to architectural and urban design. This Design Charrette will allow a team of gifted architects and designers from across the region to develop architectural and design concepts that respond to the community input gathered from citizens, neighbors, and stakeholders throughout East Liberty during Space Walks, the Arts Town Hall and other events this spring. The Design Charrette will help community leaders and citizens see exciting potential neighborhood-serving futures for this historic structure in the heart of East Liberty.
Details for both days of the design charrette are below. We hope to see you there!
