On September 27, we released our impact report into the world…

And it was a joyous occasion at The Maverick Hotel in East Liberty with more than 100 of our staff, board members, and dedicated community partners in attendance. The evening featured delicious drinks and food from the Catapult Greater Pittsburgh Culinary cohort, a presentation of the report, and impact awards given to those individuals and organizations that were pivotal in the transformation of the neighborhood. Even Mayor Ed Gainey stopped by and received an award for his service to the neighborhood over the years (fun fact: the mayor used to work for ELDI).

More than simply summing up ELDI and East Liberty’s story, we hope this report can serve as a tool for other communities striving to realize their own community visions.
