Beginning in June, residents of East Liberty Gardens in East Liberty will have a new Family Resource Center!
The goal of the Center is to help empower residents of the Gardens to grow and reach their life goals through a computer lab, classes, a children’s space, and meeting rooms.
Residents will be able to reserve the space for private use through the management office. The Center will also have regular hours and announcements and workshops for adults and children. Finally, the space will be used for meetings and sessions regarding future developments of the property.
Partner organizations include the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh; Circles; Citizens Bank; East Liberty Family Support; East Liberty Presbyterian Church; Eastminster Church; the Housing Alliance of Pennylsvania; Interactive Sotry Adventures, LLC; the Kingsley Association; and Open Hand Ministries. Sponsoring organizations include East Liberty Development, Inc.; East Liberty Housing, Inc.; Google; and Green Light Wireless.
