From the Post-Gazette:
Funding for the second phase of new housing in East Liberty has been approved by the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, state Rep. Joseph Preston, D-East Liberty, announced Wednesday.
The $1.7 million in funding and tax credits will help develop 13 two- and three-story buildings at Collins Avenue and East Liberty Boulevard. The project, called Liberty Park, is a continuation of housing that has been systematically replacing old subsidized housing in East Liberty.
Mr. Preston said the agency will help finance approximately $500,000 in PennHOMES funding and $1.2 million in rental housing tax credits for the project, which is being developed by McCormack Baron Salazar Inc.
