The Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation, in collaboration with the City of Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, is hosting a Gun Buyback Saturday September 21 from 12:00-5:00 p.m.

Bring your unwanted guns to the Gun Buyback in return for Visa Gift cards (while supplies last). Police officers will be onsite to safely collect and store the guns until they can be taken to the proper facility to be melted down.

This is an anonymous process. No questions will be asked about names, addresses or any other information of a personal nature. The use of cameras and cell phones will be prohibited onsite during the Buyback.

All guns must be secured before arriving at the site. Please treat every gun as though it is loaded. If you are NOT familiar with the gun do NOT attempt to unload the firearm. Immediately upon arrival, inform an uniformed Pittsburgh Police Officer that your gun is loaded. If you ARE familiar with the weapon, please unload the weapon prior to transporting it. All weapons must be secure inside a container such as a bag, box, purse, etc.

Bring firearms to the Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation’s Activity Center (113 N. Pacific Avenue). Police officers on-site will determine the type of weapon, which will determine the value of gift card given. Funds are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Guns will continue to be accepted until 5 p.m., even if funds run out.
