would love to know the history of 5631 Rural street home said to be built in 1860? My great great grandmother Amelia Hurst Blake bought it in the late 1800s/ or 1900 and it was in my family until the late 1960s. I live and teach in NYC or I’d definitely be at your talk! Thank you.
Hi Cynthia,
Thanks for your comment. We suggest you talk to the folks at the East Liberty Valley Historical society to learn more about the house, and do let us know if you find out anything interesting! You can get in touch with them through their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/EastLibertyValley/ Also, please note that this is an old event, but stay tuned for more talks in the future!
Cheers,
Elizabeth
