Bike PGH’s 2013 Bike Fest is almost upon us! Gearing up for something green? Join Grow Pittsburgh & GTECH Strategies on a tour of greening projects that include everything from Braddock’s Urban Farm, Garfield’s Hop Projects, Southside’s 88-bed community garden and even a play yard made of recycled materials right here in East Liberty.
The Two Wheels Lots of Green Bike & Bus Tour is designed to connect individuals to community-based greening projects throughout Pittsburgh in a fun, interactive and meaningful way. Those who sign up will enjoy a bike ride or bus tour featuring project sites and meet the people who made these projects possible. Along the tour, participants will experience a variety of sites.
