After yearlong activities comprising 450+ community responses, focus group meetings with registered community business and advocacy organizations, and an extensive traffic and safety study, Pittsburgh’s Department of Mobility & Infrastructure is ready to share a draft vision of the five priority corridors of the East Liberty.

The project team has blended the concerns received from the community with field observations, data, and a detailed traffic study to develop these recommendations. The recommendations are focused on pedestrian and traffic safety, transit accessibility, and completion of the gaps along with upgrades to existing bike connections in the neighborhood.
