Rendering from Beacon Communities

The B’nai Israel synagogue is set to be redeveloped into new affordable apartments, and possibly, a community arts space. Boston-based Beacon Communities is leading the project with the intention of creating a “regenerative community”.  The developer plans to begin construction in late winter or early spring this year, converting the former school administration wing of the structure into 45 primarily affordable apartments and seven units offered at market rates.
