The Penn Plaza Support and Action Coalition (PPSAC) has been instrumental in identifying former Penn Plaza residents for the new Mellon’s Orchard South Apartments in East Liberty being constructed by Trek Development.
PPSAC worked closely with TREK Development Group over the last year, as Crystal Jennings and other members of the coalition reached out to former Penn Plaza residents individually to provide information on the new development, eligibility, and application process. Their work attributed to Trek’s large interest list from former Penn Plaza residents. Construction is projected to be completed by December 31 with occupancy starting January 15, 2021.
Trek is still accepting applications for these apartments as well as their urban loft-style apartments along North Beatty Street.
