Our fundraising work continues to transform Sts.Peter and Paul Church into a community arts and events center.

At the same time, our collaboration with the Pittsburgh-based leadership consultancy ULEAD continues. They are engaging with local arts and cultural organizations to better understand how this arts and events space, as well as the proposed attached black box theater, can be utilized and managed.

So far, they’ve had visitors and engagement from the arts community with some really great preliminary feedback for the project. Visitors have included Kelly Strayhorn Theater, Nafasi cohorts, Realtime Arts, and the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council, among others.

Looking at both performing and visual arts has given ULEAD a good perception of the needs of individuals and organizations. ULEAD is also meeting with neighborhood stakeholders that are creating similar spaces, such as the Bloomfield Garfield Corporation, to ensure that the services being eventually offered to the community are compatible.

Stay tuned as we share more updates!
