East End Cooperative Ministry’s “Have a Heart for Hunger” campaign continues with Pancakes in the P.M. at P+G Pamela’s Diner! This third annual event will take place Thursday, March 3 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. at Pamela’s Strip District location (60 21st St.).
Enjoy Pamela’s signature foods, including French toast croissant casserole and a “make your own” pancake bar, all while supporting EECM’s hunger programs. The suggested donation for Pancakes in the P.M. is $25, which can be paid in advance online at EECM’s website (www.eecm.org) or at the door. All contributions to the 2011 Have a Heart for Hunger campaign will be matched dollar for dollar up to $30,000.
EECM’s food pantry is the busiest in Allegheny County, serving nearly 500 families each month! The Soup Kitchen serves over 22,000 hot lunches each year, and Meals on Wheels delivers over 18,00 home-cooked meals each year. Each program has seen increases, so “Have a Heart for Hunger” and donate today!
