Eight talented Peabody High School students recently published a book about Pittsburgh’s East End titled ” Pittsburgh`s East End: Then, Now and Later.”
The book was funded by the Young Preservationist Association in Homewood, along with the Grable Foundation. The project took almost the entire school year for the students, who were enrolled in a public service course.
The 100-page book is divided into four sections: institutions, communities, people and a section about the authors.
