Celebrate the work of Neighborhood Learning Alliance’s Reading Warriors at a Public Display of Reading!
The Reading Warriors are teens who are spending their summer reading to elementary students in local summer camps. They have set a goal of reading one million minutes, and have so far logged over 250,000!
The Reading Warriors will be reading to their kids on the steps of East Liberty Presbyterian Church (116 S. Highland Avenue) on the Penn Avenue steps Tuesday, July 30 at 11:00 a.m.
Show these teens the community values their work! Show up with a book and read alongside them for 15 minutes, silently or aloud.
The more people show up, the stronger the message of “reading is fun” will be!
