Rev Fowler-Searcy has served on the Board since 1998, previously serving as Vice President. She is the Director of Mission at the East Liberty Presbyterian Church and has held many offices: Church Clerk, Finance Committee, President of Young Matrons, Outreach Ministry, Nehemiah Emmanual Prison COmunity Reentry Ministry and many more. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Purdue University and completed one year of study towards a Masters in Education. She was honored in 1999, by being accepted as one of 50 individuals from across the country to participate in the Harvard Divinity School Summer Leadership Institute for Church-based Community and Economic Development. She was chosen to sit on the Board as a result of her committed work in the East Liberty community.
