The new Staples had its Grand Open in The Village of East Side on May 19. They had a good turn-out of about 600 people on their first day. Mark Sinning, the Operations Manager, says that Staples is proud to be a new part of the community. Though they are not hiring right now, he encourage East Liberty residents to go to the job link on Staples.com because they do hire from within the neighborhood. They will be open 7 days a week, (Mon-Fri 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sat. 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.) so now if you’re bored on a Sunday afternoon you can buy a new desk chair or 3-ring binder.
